Shopiva ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

- Shopping list data (list names, items, prices)
- Optional: Email address (if you create an account)
- Device information for sync purposes
- Anonymous usage data and app analytics
- Advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt

- To provide the shopping list service

Analytics & Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the app:
- Feature usage (which features you use)
- App performance and crashes
- Device type and OS version
- Approximate geographic location (country/region)
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to process this data. No personally identifiable information (such as your shopping list content, item names, or email address) is collected or shared.

Data Storage
- Data is stored securely using Firebase services
- We do not sell your data to third parties
- Your shopping list content (list names, items, notes) is never used for advertising
- Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated
Advertising & Attribution Partners
Shopiva does not display any ads inside the app. We run marketing campaigns on Facebook and Instagram to reach new users, and we use Meta's SDK (formerly Facebook SDK) to measure which campaigns bring people to the app and so Meta can show you more relevant Shopiva ads on those platforms.
When you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, we may share the following with Meta:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA)
- App install and launch events
- Device type and operating system version
This data is used solely to attribute installs to ad campaigns and improve ad relevance. If you decline the ATT prompt, no identifier is shared with Meta and attribution falls back to Meta's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork mechanism.
You can change your tracking choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → Shopiva.

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS and SSL/TLS protocols.
